Product Description

When using the Microsoft Print to PDF option in Windows to generate a PDF, certain elements, such as URL links, might not work as expected. This issue is commonly reported by users who try to create PDFs from HTML pages, Word documents, or other content containing clickable links.

Why This Happens
When you use Microsoft Print to PDF (or any "virtual printer" feature in Windows), it's effectively printing a static representation of the content. The Microsoft Print to PDF feature is designed to produce a PDF document by rendering content in a "print-friendly" way, but it doesn't retain the full interactive functionality of the original document. This means:

Hyperlinks (URLs) may be stripped of their interactivity.
Any dynamic features (like JavaScript or form elements) aren't included.

While the text or content is printed to the PDF file, the links (URLs, mailto links, etc.) are often treated as regular text, making them non-clickable in the generated PDF.
